Mama's White Chocolate Chip Scones

3 cups flour
1 Tbs Baking powder
2 Sticks unsalted butter-softened
1/4 cup AND 2 tbs Sugar
3 Large eggs
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips 

Beat butter until creamy
Then add sugar and beat until fluffy
Add eggs one at a time, beating after each
Reduce speed and add flour and baking powder (mix only until blended)
Add yogurt and mix until blended
Fold in chocolate chips by hand

scoop 1/3 cup into scones and place on a cookie sheet
loosely cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 45 min (I do overnight)
uncover scones and bake for 15 min at 350, then reduce to 325 for another 13 min
